upgraded iphones and now excel will not allow me to edit unless I sign in
Hello all. I recently purchased a used iPhone 13. Running on current update: iOS 17.4.1. Prior to this I had an iPhone 8 and was not having any problems with creating, editing, worksheets using excel 2017? 2018? (version 16.16.27). I would routinely sync it with a Macbook Pro laptop to backup. Now however, I'm unable to edit the excel spreadsheets on my iPhone unless I "sign in." I do NOT want the information on my spread sheets stored on iCloud. How can I work around this? Thank you in advance for your help.
- rachelSteel ContributorWhy not ask apple support? this might help: https://github.com/nicolodiamante/icloud-nosync. I create a folder called "MyFolder.nosync" on mac to prevent it from being syncing to iCloud. but never tried that on iPhones.

- rachelSteel ContributorProbably no one understands your question. Does .nosyn or .tmp work on IOS?
