Unlocking an Excel file
I was sent an Excel file (in .xlsx formate) by email. It is locked and I need to open it. I know the password, but I don´t know where to write it. I expected that a small dialog box would appear after opening the file and I would just write the password inside it. But it didn´t happen and I can´t find any way to open the file. I use Excel 2007. Could someone give an advice, please? Thank you in advance.

Hi Veronika,
Let say you received the file, download it on the disk drive and try to open double-clicking on it. What do you see on the screen after that?

I thought it could be solved by using options in "Review" but they can´t be used...
Veronika,
It looks like Excel as application is opened but it doesn't open your file. That could be this https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Excel-file-doesn-t-open-after-unchecking-the-option-to-show-start-screen-2d54d6e6-a3bf-4c7d-a801-c07868f1b5a0?ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US or similar bug.
Could you please try to start Excel and after that File->Open your file. And do you have similar effect with other files?
