#unknown! displayed in excel where an inserted picture should be located
A supplier is sending me an excel template which contains pictures in a cell The picture can be viewed in web based outlook and web based excel but when I download the file the cell states #unknown!...
The issue still remains present in April 2025.
I found that if you have the original copy where the images are still showing, you can right-click the image, then select 'Picture in Cell', then select 'Place over Cell' and then resize the image to the size of the cell. It is a good workaround and allows the image to be viewed by our clients.
