Unable to locate default labels on the title row of my spreadsheet template...
Good morning. I found this Excel template online and I'm trying to locate the origin of this text/dialogue box so I can update or delete it? I know it's based on the original document, but neither the sheet nor the workbook seems to be protected. I'd like to align these labels with my updated spreadsheet, but I can't find them. Any assistance is appreciated.
It is the so-called Input Message of Data Validation.
Select the cell.
On the Data tab of the ribbon, click Data Validation.
If you want to remove the message altogether, click Clear All.
If, on the other hand, want to change the message, activate the Input Message tab of the dialog.
Edit the text, then click OK.
