Unable to load text file in Power Pivot did Excel change?!!
Hi, I'm attempting to load a text file into Power Pivot.
I also cannot load a text file into Excel.
It appears that it's not recognizing the field separator.
I've used field separators like Tab, Pipe |, Colon :, etc and they don't work.
It's combining the line into one column.

It appears MS may have made some changes to Office 365.
Can anyone chime in on this?

That's a known bug, this connector works only with commas.
In general these days better not to use Power Pivot connectors, Power Query gives much more possibilities.
datafanatik , try importing using power query and see if you have any issues.
Consider uploading a sample file without any confidential information for further assistance.
