About the shared workbook feature
Note. When Microsoft Excel refuses to share a particular workbook, it is most likely due to one of the following reasons:
That is for the versions Excel 2010, 2013 and 2016, I cannot confirm whether it is also at 365 ... but you don't know before you have tried it.
Workbooks that contain tables or XML maps cannot be shared. So make sure to convert your tables to ranges and remove the XML cards before sharing your Excel file.
In order to be able to share a workbook, some data protection settings must be deactivated. Go to File> Excel Options> Trust Center, click the Trust Center Settings⦠button, and under the Privacy Options category, clear the Remove personal information from file properties when saving check box.
Excel has many solution paths how to solve a problem, so it is as simple complex :).
I hope I was able to help you at least a little.
I would appreciate your feedback.
I wish you lots of fun with Excel ... the best invention from Microsoft since there was chocolate :).
