Trouble Uploading Excel Add In [Urgent]
JKPieterse Thanks for the reply. It seems that in order to do that you need a work account that has your domain assigned to a new tenant id

Unfortunately this has not been straightforward at all, and I am unable to even get this set up.
It is disabled for creating a new tenant, saying a subscription is needed (no instructions in the docs for this).
From here, through more digging online and chatt ing with Microsoft copilot (since calling customer service on the phone isn't helpful, as they just direct you to the forums), I am of the impression that I need to sign up for the developer program in order to create this tenant. Upon trying to sign up I am getting this rejection message, which led me to find the original forum link I put at the start of this post.
I even went on to pay for a business account with 365, thinking this would remedy the subscription issue but no, still there.
All I am trying to do is submit the add-in for review, why is this so difficult?
I would really appreciate some assistance on this. I have reached out to customer support twice by phone and made 2 posts on your online forums, both with no help. Currently quite disappointed without experience so far, hoping this can turn around.

Did you need to have a registered legal business in order to submit it? It made me log into my work account, and after I selected Microsoft 365 and Copilot for the partner center, it is prompting me to enter my legal business name so that it can find it in the database.
Our startup isn't yet legally registered as it's quite new - is this something you had to do aswell?

Thanks for posting your question.
To include your solution in Microsoft AppSource and within Office, you will need to submit it to Partner Center as you are doing right now.
You will need to have a commercial marketplace account in Partner Center and ensure your account is enrolled in the commercial marketplace program. You need to meet the following prerequisites:
- You must use a work account associated with your company or organization. Personal accounts aren't supported. For more information, see Company work accounts and Partner Center.
- Know your company's legal business name, address, and primary contact. This person can be you.
- You must have authority to sign legal agreements on your company's behalf.
More details can be found here: Create a commercial marketplace account in Partner Center - Partner Center | Microsoft Learn
Hope this helps.
