Trouble Merging Formatting Styles in Excel

Hi there, 

I am having trouble merging Formatting Styles in Excel. I created many custom formatting styles in one Excel file. I want these to become default formatting styles on my desktop. I also want to easily share them with my colleagues, such that they become default styles on their desktops as well.

However, when I try doing this - the formatting is not merged correctly. For example, the color comes up as Orange instead of blue. 

How can I fix this?

When I email the file to a colleague, he has the same problem, the font comes up as Orange instead of Blue. 

This will save me a lot of time. Many thanks in advance
