trendline equation
how do I get an equation for my scatter plot linear trend line? there isn't anything coming up in the format chart area to create an equation.

Can you not select and rigth-click (or two-finger click on a touch pad) the trend line and then "Format trend line..."?
On a Mac myself with the most recent MS365 version. Can't recall if older Mac versions did not have the "More Trendline Options..." item in the menu. What version are you on?
