transform hours into minutes

How can I transform 26:08 hours into minutes on excel?

    lolo123  did you try the middle formula (=A1*24*60) ?

I know, but when I do it with the formula "=HOUR(A1)*60 + MINUTE(A1)" I get 128 min because the time period is more than 24 hours
