How about this:
- Sign Out of the Current Account
- Open Excel.
- Go to File > Account.
- Under User Information, click Sign out from the second account.
- Remove Cached Credentials
- Open Windows Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts.
- Remove the second account if it's listed under “Accounts used by other apps.”
- You can also clear credentials via Credential Manager:
- Search for “Credential Manager” in the Start menu.
- Go to Windows Credentials and remove any entries related to Office or Microsoft 365.
- Sign In with the First Account
- Reopen Excel.
- Go to File > Account.
- Click Sign in and use your first account credentials.
- Under Product Information, click Change License and select the correct license.
- Uninstall and Reinstall Office
If Excel still picks the wrong license, a clean reinstall might be necessary:
- Uninstall Office via Control Panel > Programs and Features.
- Reinstall Office from Microsoft 365 portal using your first account.
