Sumifs
can I perform a sumifs where the criteria can be more than 1 possibility in the same range? I tried this and it didn't work: =SUMIFS(Benita!M2:M59,Benita!D2:D59,"New",[Benita!D2:D59,"Identified"])

I also tried with COUNTIFS but it doesn't work?

Do you mean
=SUM( COUNTIFS(D2:D59,{"New","Identified"}) )or
=SUM(COUNTIFS(M2:M59, "<>", D2:D59,{"New","Identified"}))?
