Subtract specific amount to multiple cell if condition met
Hi, I have a list of numbers in a column (let’s say B1 to B10) and I want to apply a correction to all of them if a condition is met. E.G: If A2 is Yes, I want to apply a -3 correction to my number...

Hi Lorenzo,
Looks like it's doing a pretty good job, but i would like it to be automated. If A2=Yes, automatically substract X (no prompt). I would also like to add an A3 cell with same kind of criteria, to also make a correction to my B1:B10 cells. The can be cumulative if both conditions are met.
Sorry i have to ask but i know nothing about macros and VBA. Maybe you know a good website that explains the basics so i can figure it out by myself.
Thank you
- Lorenzo KimSep 25, 2018Bronze ContributorTo make it automatic whenever you input a yes - it requires an Event Change trigger SUB, I'm sorry I am not well versed with that.
This is what I do when I encountered a snag in my work:
I google the problem and it will show many sites where I can browse,
Just be patient googling around - you might find something that you need
(well, almost always) - if not, place your query here at the forum.
good luck..
