Stumped with 'ran out of resources'
- Feb 27, 2025
Hi,
We have the same issue here. Problem is with latest Office version (2501/2502). You need to downgrade to 2412 and everything will work again (https://www.accessforever.org/post/roll-back-to-previous-versions-of-office).
You can also just change channel (MonthlyEnterprise) and it will roll back to the 2412 version. Let's hope Microsoft will solve this issue.

Many thanks mbc
I am a Microsoft 365 Family subscriber and, as you noted, apparently our money does not buy us the right to easily switch back to a more stable version of the software (or perhaps we got a discount to be guinea pigs?)
But thank you so much for the link to AccessForever. I followed their instructions to roll back to 2412 and have yet to hear an annoying ding about resources 🤞 I hope to stay like this for a good 2-3 months before I turn Office updates back on again.
Many thanks again mbc!
