Stumped with 'ran out of resources'
- Feb 27, 2025
Hi,
We have the same issue here. Problem is with latest Office version (2501/2502). You need to downgrade to 2412 and everything will work again (https://www.accessforever.org/post/roll-back-to-previous-versions-of-office).
You can also just change channel (MonthlyEnterprise) and it will roll back to the 2412 version. Let's hope Microsoft will solve this issue.

Many thanks SergeiBaklan and JKPieterse
SergeiBaklan- I did see your feedback on earlier threads and looked for such formulas in my workbook but did not find any. I extensively use dynamic arrays that I setup very carefully to avoid running into the super-large ranges issue. But I will take another look.
JKPieterse- thank you for sharing that page - I have tried almost everything stated there. Interestingly the issue arises even when I start excel in safe mode (and my add-ins are disabled) and then open the file that gives me issues.
Appreciate your support and any additional guidance anyone could provide.

Can you share the file after removing any sensitive content, but still exhibiting the issue?
