STOCKHISTORY and Stock Data not working
Is it only me? Or everyone else having the same problem?
My Excel 365 cannot use STOCKHISTORY Function anymore.
It shows #connect! Error.
Also, I cannot use the stock data anymore. (The other data types are not functioning as well.)
(The error message says "Sorry, we are having a temporary server error. We are trying to fix this problem.")
Is it only me? Or everyone else is having this problem?
It's now Monday, 1/5/26 and mine is working. I assume the rest of you are also seeing it work. My hypothesis is that it was down for the weekend, presumably for updates or other fixing. Now that the market is open, it's more critical that it be working, and it is.

Yep, mine is working since yesterday afternoon.

Still not working in USA on 1/4/26, no update from Microsoft
Same here. This is the 3rd day. No word from them, are they going to fix this?! How can we escalate this?

Apparently this has been going on since the first. I just wasted 45 minutes with tech support where I said from the beginning that this was a widespread issue (even sharing a community post where it was being discussed at large) and I just wanted the ETA on the fix. Nope, tech wanted to remote into my computer and, funny enough, that didn't fix anything. Never did get an answer on the ETA and they told me to post my problem here. Not sure what tech support is even supposed to be for, but you know how these companies get when they become de facto monopolies -- no longer motivated to provide any sort of quality whatsoever.

I confirm. It is not working anymore! Someone knows when stock data will be re-established?
It is widespread. I noticed it Jan 1. So 3 days and counting. As of 1:39 PM Easter, Jan 3, 2026 its still broken. This problem affects A LOT of people.
