Stock Data Types Wont Refresh - Provides Erroneous Error Message
I have an Excel workbook I created a few months ago and this afternoon while I was away, the "stocks" data type refresh feature stopped refreshing. The error message I receive instructs me to sign in...
It is ridiculous that Microsoft pays scant attention to this problem. These are all paying customers. It might have been created due to a change over from Office 365 to Microsoft 365. I wonder why Microsoft needs to rename products over and over again.
- Can make a doc in google sheets for stock prices - feed to Google Finance...can download prices from google sheets into excel and copy paste then copy/paste into your models - temporary work around i'm using until MSFT gets it corrected
- Same problem here since yesterday. So annoying. I checked for an Office update, and it ran some update, but still not fixed. This is a real pain.
