Stock Data Types Wont Refresh - Provides Erroneous Error Message
I have an Excel workbook I created a few months ago and this afternoon while I was away, the "stocks" data type refresh feature stopped refreshing. The error message I receive instructs me to sign in...
I started having the same issue yesterday midafternoon.
I just got of the phone with Microsoft tech support. They stopped supporting money in excel on June 30th, which is why it no longer updates my stock data. I was tracking over 70 stocks and can't believe this feature was discontinued.
Sounds like other folks on this thread got a different response though?.
- Camboy2465 Yeah this is a different issue...stock data is still updating in Excel online for most people so we know MS is still supporting stock data types.
- Money in Excel is/was a different set of features than stock / geography / currency data types that the issue is around here.
