Stock Data Types Wont Refresh - Provides Erroneous Error Message
I have an Excel workbook I created a few months ago and this afternoon while I was away, the "stocks" data type refresh feature stopped refreshing. The error message I receive instructs me to sign in...

forbisher This functionality continues to be broken for me as well. I have tried the usual remediation techniques of signing out and back in, sometimes rebooting in between to no avail. I'm currently on the "Microsoft 365 Insider" channel. I have noticed two interesting things in my attempts to get this working:
1) At one point, I had an "Unlicensed Product" message on the title bar - even though I was signed in. Took a few attempts to get rid of this.
2) Using a different laptop, with Microsoft 365 but not on the Insider channel and logging in does work.

i think you are onto something there.
Insider should be re-named to expendable guinea pigs
i am removing myself from that category if this is the level of urgency provided to their cutting edge users.

- CatpurrnicusJul 11, 2023Copper ContributorAgreed - I had wondered about getting on to the Insider channel but I did want to play with lambda expressions - oh well.
As for removing myself from the Insider channel, it's unfortunately a little more involved. I tried to remove myself but then had it display a pop up indicating that the "regular" software would only be pushed out on the next update. Not exactly useful for an immediate fix. I suppose to only recourse after leaving the Insider channel is to uninstall Office365/Excel and then reinstall...grrr
