Spreadsheet corrupts upon saving it

I looked at what was suggested, but it was only objects that are actually in the sheet; nothing unexpected or in great numbers. Also, if it would be due to increased objects, I would have expected older versions (e.g. a copy from between 2020 and 2024) would have worked, but if I open it and save, the same issue occurs.
