SOS - Excel financial functions

Hi,

Excel financial functions are a black box, we just provide parameters and it returns a value. Is there a way we can see the underlying logic (formula) of any function?

OR any documentation specifying the underlying formula used for each function.

I am stuck at few functions and not able to understand how excel arrived at that answer.
