  • Hello,
    1. Click anywhere in your data
    2. Execute ALT +**bleep** on your keyboard
    3. In the Sort dialogue box, for the Sort by, select the column from the dropdown
    4. Click on Add Level
    5. For the Then by, select the second column to sort on...

If you're okay with the default Order which is A to Z, click OK

As Sergei already has said, yes. Just select both columns and go through the sort.

For the record, you can sort MANY columns and keep all entries on the same row together, and you can sort by multiple criteria. For example, if you're dealing with a set of names of people in your club, along with their addresses, one column of which is CITYNAME, you could sort by City first, secondly by Last Name.

A rule of thumb you might find helpful when using Excel: If you think Excel ought to be able to do X [sort multiple columns keeping all on a row together, for example, as you did here] you can safely assume that Excel can do X.  You just need to go find how it does it. It's powerful. Don't hesitate to play around.
