Sort/Dropdown Dialog

This question is probably very rudimentary for many but I cannot figure out how to create this type of dropdown box. Any assistance is appreciated

It's not totally clear what you mean, but I'm assuming it's actually what's called Data Validation, which can be used to generate a drop down list of acceptable values. Here's a reference that should help.

thank you for your feedback....I should have mentioned this before but this dialog box is from an Excel template call Track My Tasks and can be found when you go to open a new XLSX. It's likely data validation but the template does not use, that I can find, a separate spreadsheet to enter data choice options...Hope this clarifies somewhat
