Slicer selection to trigger cell contents

Hello all, 

I am working with a dashboard which has quite a bit of slicers outside the print area. The print area is structured to fit on an A4 sheet of paper and at the top, I have a cell where I manually type the period I am showing the data for.

Is it possible for a monthly period slicer (or any slicer for that matter) to trigger cell contents? Say I select 3 months in my slicer, 01.2018, 02.2018 and 03.2018, could this selection generate the result "Jan-Mar 2018" in a cell of my choice?
