Slicer has incapacitated my sheet

I am using a macbook.

I accidentally clicked the slicer button when creating a table (there is currently nothing in the table except the headers) and now there is a text box type thing that is stopping me from doing anything else within the sheet (there is already a lot of work on it that I don't want to lose).

The text box's title is one of the headers from the table I was creating and in the body of the box it just says "(blank)".

I have tried to remove it but it simply won't go away! Nothing happens when I right click it, hit delete, try to do anything else within my table. I'm incredibly confused how I'm meant to remove it without deleting all my work and starting again?

You should be able to drag the box out of the way, does that work?

Hi! So I sorted it but I'm not sure what I did or why it worked tbh. It wouldn't let me drag the box or do anything else on the sheet itself (all the buttons in the ribbon were greyed out except slicer settings but that did nothing when I clicked it too), so I figured I'd have to just shut down the sheet and redo everything. Tried doing that but it wouldn't let me as the slicer box was blocking everything. However, a separate spreadsheet I had open, but minimised, popped up to say it also couldn't be shut down due to the slicer so out of frustration I just started randomly clicking on one of the tables in the second spreadsheet and something finally popped into the slicer box! It now had both the (blank) and the words from the cell I clicked in the other spreadsheet. At that point it seemed to figure itself out and I was able to right click the slicer box and delete it as you're supposed to be able to do!
