I want page layout>size>legal but always size>a4 or letter .
How do I can? Thanks for your kind.

- - Start a new blank Excel file (with only one worksheet).
- Setup all printing properties the way you like them, including margins, header, footer, etcetera.
- Choose File, Save As.
- Select "Excel template (*.xltx)" from the file type drop-down.
- Navigate to this folder: %appdata%\microsoft\excel\xlstart\
- Name the file "book.xltx" (without the quotation marks)
- Repeat the above save-as steps, but this time name it "sheet.xltx" (this becomes the template for all new worksheets you add)
The book.xltx will be the base template which is used when Excel opens with a new blank workbook or which you get when you hit control+n
