Simple TEXT formula not working on my notebook

Hi,

 

In cel A1 the following number is given 12345

In cel B1 i add the formula =TEXT(A1;''00000000'')

 

Then error is thrown. On a different notebook, the formula is working. 

What could this be?

      Hej, thank you for your reply.

      Immediately I tried your formula by copying and past it in excel. Still the same result.
      I noticed you mentioned " instead of '' , maybe I am stupid but where is the difference while typing? I

        There are different entries in cells B3 and B4. In cell B3 is the quotation mark from the keyboard which works inside a formula. The sign in cell B4 isn't the quotation mark which is expected in a formula. Actually i don't know what sign that is.
