showing grand total on a stacked bar chart from a pivot table and chart

I created a pivot table that counts defects by day and by shift.

The the pivot chart shows total defects per day by shift.

But the only value I can show on the graph is each individual shift.

I would like to show the grand total on the graph at the top of each bar.

Yes I know I can copy the table and create a chart manually but that defeats the purpose of using a Pivot chart which can be updated automatically as the data changes.
