Sharing Workbooks
I know shared workbooks are shared with a link but where can editors locate the shared file? Is it permanently stored in their drives on their desktops?
I don't think there's one answer to this. For example, when I've worked with a shared Excel workbook, the workbook has been stored most commonly on Microsoft's cloud server, known as OneDrive, in a folder to which all the authorized users have been granted access.
Some will use Google Drive.
Dropbox.
So it's usually not a "link" per se, but rather a matter of shared access to a common location.
Do you know if this location can be on a desktop drive or does it have to be on the onedrive browser?
