Sharing violation problem with excel files saved in Onedrive.

Saving any excel file (autosave) stored in onedrive results in sharing violation problem. The message reads as -

The document was saved successfully, but Excel cannot re-open it because of a sharing violation.  Please close the document and try to open it again.
