SharePoint Hosted Excel Document - Filters

Good Afternoon, 

I have a dashboard built in Excel which is shared via a SharePoint site - I have formulas which are based on Data Validation lists. When a user changes the dropdown it changes the view for anyone else in the workbook. 

Is there anyway to prevent this of occurring so each user has their own view like the legacy "Shared Workbook function" the new collaboration of shared documents isn't the best when you need not have certain features active.
