Shared excel file

Hi, I apologise in advance, I am not technical savvy at all!

 

So, my partner has a main excel file that he updates daily and I need access to it also so I can see his updates without having to ask him to send me the file each day. 

Would anyone kindly tell me how we do this?

    If your partner saves that file in OneDrive (or OneDrive for business), he/she can share the file with you. By default you can then also edit that file, even at the same time as your partner.
