Share with Editing abilities but Prevent power Query use.

Hello all,

 

I am pulling data into a table I want to share with others. They can have full editing rights and will need to refresh the tables. However, I want to fool-proof the table by making the users unable to open Power Query Editor. Is this possible?

    Hi apaulso9 

     

    yes, you just need to protect the workbook:

    Menu "Review | Protect Workbook"

    This way, the user can refresh tables, but is not able to edit/change the queries.
