Share excel workbook without recipient making changes to your own document.

It’s not quite as simple as the title! I would like to share it, with the recipient being able to use the whole functionality of the work book, edit it for themselves and save it to their account, but with out making edits/ changes to mine. I’ve tried to find answers myself, and I know how to share and prevent recipients editing, but my question requires further information.

Any info would be much appreciated!
