Semi colon (;) column seperator instead of comma (,)

Hi, I've gone round the block with this one and followed the instructions to change the control panel region additional settings for the list seperator - it was on a comma (,) as I need it to be. In Excel the Options - Advanced - List setting is set to "Use system seperator". Still Excel returns a .csv file with a semi colon (;) when save as is used. Where else can I try to change settings to correct this to give me a comma delimited file? I also tried co-pilot and the script file it proposed.

  • In Region > Additional Settings..., make sure that the decimal symbol is set to point and the digit grouping symbol to comma in both the Numbers tab and the Currency tab:
