Selecting rows or columns is going weird - please help

Question

Hi&nbsp;Anyone know how to solve this?&nbsp; Usually when i click a column it goes grey so that i know its selected (same if i click on the row , or SELECT ALL) BUt now its just looks like Column A is highlighted and puts a dotted line around the rest of it!&nbsp;Sheet Protection is not locked.No grouping&nbsp;No idea whats gone wrong!!&nbsp;&nbsp;Also there is a little square if you try to highlight columns:&nbsp;

I understand. I think you double clicked the column and that is why there is a dotted line because it means you want to move the whole column I think

this is not the problem&nbsp;It's like some sort of 'lock' is on. It's not scroll lock&nbsp;&nbsp;Thanks&nbsp;&nbsp;Sinagold52&nbsp;

Yes, I have the same problem - since I bought Office 2021.SGeorgie . It DOES select the row/column, though. When you shift sideways/up/down to select more rows/columns and then back to only one row/column , it goes grey after all. Annoying, yes
