Seeking out the right column and corresponding value
I have series of columns with data, each with a heading, a date.
In another sheet I do some analyses and calculations comparing results from date ,A , B, C etc . I wish to be able to select on the analyses sheet from which date column to pick the value. So from line e.g 6 in analyses I wish to pick a vaue in denoted data column line 6. The data columns will continue to grow as new dates are added but analyses will be from purchase, from base line, from previous i e partially moving target.
What would be the best practise?
Can you add screenshots or a file - both without sensitive data - which shows your data and a few examples of the expected result?
Made a test file but fail to see how to enclose it..
