Search bar has changed for the worse, can I change it back?

The little search bar at the top right used to allow me to just put something in, hit enter, and then it would jump to any cell that had that text. Now instead it opens a pop-up window that makes me hit enter a second time to get the same result. How can I change this back to the way it was before?
