Scatter Plot - x and y axis (cant enter the data in)

Hi,

Hoping someone can help me. I have data for a school project that needs to be entered into a scatter plot. The step that i am stuck on (and i dont know if this is because the version im using is different from the instructor or not) is when i right click the select data for the x axis and y axis it does not allow me to. The only thing available is Series 1 but the scatter plot doesnt match the specific points that i need to use. 

I need to use information from lets say column F and D but I cant get that specific data on the page. When the instructor is doing it he is able to go into "Legend Key" and specifically put data needed. That function is not available on my version. What do i do? Any help please first project due this weekend and i hate turning in late or last minute assignments.
