Replace characters in a formula

Is possible to replace characters inside a formula?   Example:   Let's assume I want to replace a formula =SUMIF(...) with =AVERAGEIF(..). I'm trying with CTRL + H but it's not working.   Than...

Vincenzo_Riflesso Should work. Created a SUMIF formula and replaced the function with AVERAGEIF, using the following (default) settings.
