"Refresh symbol" appearing unwanted in cell - how to get rid of it
Can someone tell me what this symbol (looks like the internet page refresh symbol) means in this context and how to remove it from a cell? Spreadsheet was started by someone else (who has since left...
There is actually a rectangular shape on top of the cell, and the 'refresh symbol' is the handle that you can use to rotate the shape. While the shape is displayed as in your screenshot, with circles around its edges, simply press Delete to remove it.
