GENERATED ID GETTING GETTING DEDUCTED

    There is no problem with the formula. It is executing it correctly, but perhaps with the logic.
    Here's an alternative formula you may try:
    =TEXT(ROW()-1,"LU000000")

    thank you sir. I found also a new way which is almost the same as yours.

    ="LU"&TEXT(ROW(B1),"0000000")
