LaurLaura okay. So leave your data in Excel. Each user can still use Power Query or SQL or Data Import features in their Excel to access source file and not alter for other users as they filter..sort..analyze.

I could understand working like this in a git environment, where the utilities available would give advanced options to push / pull and review changes between multiple versions, with one main version.
Not applicable for how users expect Excel in the cloud to function.
