ranking messed up the whole excel
Hello! I had an Excel sheet with names and after the names, some parameters connected to the names. A few days ago, I did a ranking, from A to z but only for some of the names and today, I realized that parameters for example that were meant for the name B were next to the name G. What can I do to retrieve the original data?

- Patrick2788Silver ContributorIf you're working in OneDrive/SharePoint, you could try File | Info | Version History and roll back the file. If the workbook is on a network share, right-click the workbook and select Restore Previous Versions.

Can you track the data back to source or look up an earlier version? Sadly, the option for corruption of the data is built in to traditional spreadsheet methods which rely heavily on user interaction.
