Ranking data in Excel
Hi there. If I have data in Column A for 5 teams (say batting average), how do I get column B to be the ranking of those averages? For instance, if A2 = .390, A3 = .295, A4 = .401, A5 = .227, A6 = .265, how do I set B2 = 2 since A2 is the second highest average, B3 = 3 since A3 is the third highest average, B4 = 1 since A4 is the highest average, B5 = 5 since A5 is the fifth highest average, and B6 = 4 since A6 is the fourth highest average? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Great, thank you!
In B2:
=RANK.EQ(A2:A6, A2:A6)
This will spill to B2:B6.
