Question on Sumifs
Hello: Please can someone help me understand why formula is not able to work when it works in the first cell in K2 and K4? However, it doesnt seem to work for the rest of the rows up to row 10. Thank you.

The merged cells is somewhat necessary.

Use some other method--e.g., background colors--to achieve the same desired objective with regard to the display.
Merged cells, in general, especially in an area used in computation of results, are a recipe for disaster, as you are discovering.
Remove the merged cells. Then it will become clear.
