Pulling data from extracted powerpoint slides
Hi, I am a excel user with just basic skills and knowledge. I have data that is extracted from powerpoint slides into excel and I am attempting to easily isolate the specific data I need to research. I would need to search for the term PAR and then copy the preceding data (25 spaces) and have it displayed in the following manner.
567891011, 1EA, XXX XXX, PAR
123456789, 3EA, XXX XXX, PAR
| 567891011 | 1EA | PAR |
| 123456789 | 2EA | PAR |

I can't get flash fill to work. Sorry, I also identified another issue, there are multiple part numbers in each row of data.

you can try the following:
1. paste the data in a notepad as save as csv file (save as .csv instead of .txt)
2. open the csv file in excel and use the concatenate formula
=CONCATENATE(I2,P2)
