Protecting cells with individual passwords

Is it possible to protect cells in a shared excel spreadsheet but have individual passwords linked to their windows password to those that can edit it?

    Rajen0609 you can link each protected cell with different password. 

     

    You can use function Allow Users to Edit Ranges, which is located on the Review tab. Simply just set new range: title, range, password and then continue with the next one.

     

    When done, protect the sheet (Review tab -> Protect sheet), to set the master password for the sheet (just make sure it is different from the ones you set for ranges).

     

    Upon successful competition of the steps above, anyone trying to enter something in specific range, will be prompted for password.
