"protect sheet" option still allows for deleting of protected cells

Question

I protected the above worksheet under "protect sheet" option, inserted my password then "ok" but it still allows for deleting of protected cells. The only way around this is if I unselect "select locked cells" and "select unlocked cells". But when I do that I can't search then select any cells.

Rodrigo_I'm not seeing that option. Please see screenshot below. It thinks that the column/chart is protected, but it's not. i can delete those cells. Makes no sense.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Rodrigo_thanks that worked!&nbsp;But I can't lock certain cells. I highlighted the above columns and protected them but it protects the whole worksheet.&nbsp;&nbsp;
