Problems with Shortcuts Keys (Alt+???)

Hello everbody!

My name is Helio and I have been some problems with the new Excel's update availabled in the last week for Brazil. In this update the shortcuts was changed and I will have to learn all the commands again.

For example:

Before update: To applicate borders in the cell: Alt+C+R

After update: To applicate borders in the cell: Alt+C1+H1

I sent an image attached to demonstrate.

How can I change or return this settings? It's possible?

 Tks

In fact, Alt key shortcuts (aka Access keys) are special kind of keyboard shortcuts, some of them change in some versions and languages!

Some of them may change if you upgrade to another version of Excel, or if you adjust the ribbon, and may totally change if you change the display language in Excel.

It's OK. So the best bet is to try another version or create a new ribbon? It is this?

Is there some a method to edit this setting? ... like replace Alt + C1 by Alt + C ".

      Thanks for your time.

        You cannot create new ribbon!

There is no option to customize Alt shortcuts, they are automatically distributed so that there is no conflict between them.

I advise you adapt to the new changes, and stick with the latest version of Excel.
